Support BitTraffic!

Why Help?
Why help support BitTraffic? It helps us to continue providing even more advanced internet services development. It also helps us offer more resources(i.e. RAM, HD Space, CPU Power) to our clients as our hosting plans continue to grow. As we gain more resources we increase the sizes of our packages. We would like to move into providing even more types of services as stated in the last post. We are also working on Affiliate referral programs. Spreading the word about our company and helping us attain new clients, links, advertising, etc. Everything helps! We greatly appreciate the support!

How can I help?
There are lots of ways to help out! People aren’t really sure where to start out so here are a few ideas.

#1 - Tell your friends, family, relatives, co-workers, anyone who might be interested in the many different services that we provide. We can help them save money on their current internet projects, we can also help them with starting or promoting new projects.

#2 - Place links to BitTraffic on your website or personal pages. Text links or image links, any link is helpful!
We provide some of our own images at http://bittraffic.com/files/banners_logos

#3 - Take part in the BitTraffic Community! Helping in our Forum, Wiki, and Web Chat. There are many clients who share ideas, work on projects together, answer service related questions or just hang out and chat!

We do really appreciate all the continued support and patronage from everyone, especially our clients. BitTraffic is incredibly happy to serve you all. We will continue to try to offer the latest in hosting solutions and continue to improve services every day.

Thanks,

Eric

We would like to announce some of the new development we have under way! Our website has come along very nicely we appreciate all the feedback. There are some areas still under development so watch for changes. We will be removing access to the old website at the end of this week. View the new BitTraffic website. We have many plans to develop new services and better rates. Some of our near future plans include FreeBSD Jails, Remote Desktops, Game Servers, and much more. We expect to be releasing more information within the week. Please remember the OLD BitTraffic website links will be removed from the new site soon!

Another new server, enter Pandora

Zeus’ long running service came to an abrupt ending this morning when a data-centre tech prematurely disconnected it just after I’d made a backup but, hey, all is good. We decided to replace Zeus (UK2.net ~ London, England) with Pandora (ovh.co.uk ~ Paris, France) because it made better financial sense and, would you believe it, Pandora is also much faster.

The end user will not notice any massive difference in the service provided by BitTraffic although the new server will be faster to respond to requests, reverse DNS requests will be processed faster and customers can now make use of IPV6 addresses if they wish. Pandora is running FreeBSD 7.0-Release, the latest and most stable FreeBSD release available.

As mentioned thanks to OVH BitTraffic now offers IPV6 functionality including the availability for clients to run websites, ircd servers and such like on the latest generation of Internet Protocol. For more information please contact us.

BitTraffic’s name servers have been updated so as long as your domain’s nameservers read ns3/ns4.bittraffic.com your website will work just fine.

Many thanks for sticking with us, we do appreciate your business.
