Double the HD and expanded features coming soon!

Hello!

We would like to announce that we have been discussing upgrading the amount of HD space offered with our Reseller Web Hosting, our regular Web Hosting, and also our Virtual Private Server (VPS) Solutions. We might even increase the number of FTP logins, emails, and mySQL databases. At this time we think that we may double our current offered HD space. Also we still plan to continue offering Unlimited/Unmetered Bandwidth. We expand and develop as we are able to. Keep an eye on our site! Remember if you refer a client to BitTraffic you could be eligible for 25% off your next due invoice! Contact us for more information or to let us know what you think!

Thanks everyone!

Domain Pricing

Hello!

We are increasing the domain registration, transfer and renewal cost. To continue providing the absolute best services and support we are required to raise the cost by $2.00 USD. It will now total $11.95 vs the previous $9.95. This is for yearly domain registrations. (.com/.net/.org/.info/.biz/etc) We apologize for any inconvenience but rather then downgrade our services we would rather raise prices to continue offering our clients the absolute best in domain services such as managing host records, txt2mobile, name my phone, and more. If you would like to read more about our excellent domain services please check out http://bittraffic.com/?cmd=domains

Thank you for understanding!

Hello!

We have removed the links to the old site from our front page and will remove the files shortly. Hopefully we have offered enough time for everyone to adapt to the new site. We had a pretty smooth transition and everything went well. If anyone has questions, comments, concerns, etc… we would like to hear the feedback http://support.bittraffic.com let us know what you think. Everything is excellent and we seem to be getting a lot more attention with the new site! Lets keep those referrals and new links coming! wooohoo!

Thanks everyone!

Support BitTraffic!

Why Help?
Why help support BitTraffic? It helps us to continue providing even more advanced internet services development. It also helps us offer more resources(i.e. RAM, HD Space, CPU Power) to our clients as our hosting plans continue to grow. As we gain more resources we increase the sizes of our packages. We would like to move into providing even more types of services as stated in the last post. We are also working on Affiliate referral programs. Spreading the word about our company and helping us attain new clients, links, advertising, etc. Everything helps! We greatly appreciate the support!

How can I help?
There are lots of ways to help out! People aren’t really sure where to start out so here are a few ideas.

#1 - Tell your friends, family, relatives, co-workers, anyone who might be interested in the many different services that we provide. We can help them save money on their current internet projects, we can also help them with starting or promoting new projects.

#2 - Place links to BitTraffic on your website or personal pages. Text links or image links, any link is helpful!
We provide some of our own images at http://bittraffic.com/files/banners_logos

#3 - Take part in the BitTraffic Community! Helping in our Forum, Wiki, and Web Chat. There are many clients who share ideas, work on projects together, answer service related questions or just hang out and chat!

We do really appreciate all the continued support and patronage from everyone, especially our clients. BitTraffic is incredibly happy to serve you all. We will continue to try to offer the latest in hosting solutions and continue to improve services every day.

Thanks,

Eric

Another new server, enter Pandora

Zeus’ long running service came to an abrupt ending this morning when a data-centre tech prematurely disconnected it just after I’d made a backup but, hey, all is good. We decided to replace Zeus (UK2.net ~ London, England) with Pandora (ovh.co.uk ~ Paris, France) because it made better financial sense and, would you believe it, Pandora is also much faster.

The end user will not notice any massive difference in the service provided by BitTraffic although the new server will be faster to respond to requests, reverse DNS requests will be processed faster and customers can now make use of IPV6 addresses if they wish. Pandora is running FreeBSD 7.0-Release, the latest and most stable FreeBSD release available.

As mentioned thanks to OVH BitTraffic now offers IPV6 functionality including the availability for clients to run websites, ircd servers and such like on the latest generation of Internet Protocol. For more information please contact us.

BitTraffic’s name servers have been updated so as long as your domain’s nameservers read ns3/ns4.bittraffic.com your website will work just fine.

Many thanks for sticking with us, we do appreciate your business.

This clients account has been terminated for this abuse and causing these recent issues. We greatly apologize for the effect it has had on other users on the system. Anyone caught running perl bots without permission could have their service suspended or terminated. Its very critical that clients respect their hosting environment. We offer excellent services and cut clients a lot of slack anywhere we can. If you are unsure about certain software please check with us before running anything. Thank you all for your understanding.
